Is your family new to Summit?
IF: Your family is not yet enrolled at the Summit Academy Westminster: Please DO complete the form below at this time. In addition, it is mandatory to attend a New Family Information Meeting, either December 16th or January 14th at 6:30pm at The Summit Academy Westminster. "First Round" Choice Enrollment is from December 10th-January 15th. Families who have not submitted the "First Round" Choice Enrollment form by that date will become part of "Second Round" and placed on a wait list. Any form received after 12:00am January 16th will be considered "Second Round".

IF: Your student is already enrolled at The Summit Academy: STOP!! On December 10th you can indicate your intention to return to The Summit Academy Westminster through the ENROLLJEFFCO system. You will be receiving an email from Jeffco with instructions.

IF: You are newly enrolling the brother or sister of a student who is already enrolled at The Summit Academy Westminster, please follow the ENROLLJEFFCO process for Choice Enrollment. This will include adding the additional student to your Jeffco Connect Account and then following the steps in ENROLLJEFFCO which will open on December 10th and close on January 15th.
NEW STUDENTS: Please be aware of the following for Choice Enrollment
1. An approved application for Choice Enrollment shall be valid for attendance at the school for the remainder of the level that the school serves - elementary, middle or high school.

2. Students who wish to return to their neighborhood school or to enroll in a different school must follow the procedures outlined in ENROLLJEFFCO for Choice Application.

3. All Choice Enrollment high school students must comply with all CHSAA (Colorado High School Activities Association) requirements and bylaws. A student who transfers from School A to School B without a bona fide family move will be ineligible for varsity competition in the first 50 percent of the maximum regular season contests allowed in any sport in which the student was a participant in the last twelve months. Other factors may also influence athletic eligibility.

4. Transportation is not provided for Choice transfers.
Sibling Priority The Jeffco Public Schools policy allows siblings to attend the same school by giving enrollment priority to children in the same household. One sibling must currently be enrolled at the requested school and scheduled to return to the requested school.
You are applying to have your child attend a school other than his/her assigned school. Requests will be approved based on space availability and there is no guarantee that your child will be able to attend any school other than the assigned school. Parents certify that the information given in this document is true, complete, and correct.
