2025-26 Launch Schedule

Supply List

It's almost time, Summit families! We are ready to get the 2025-26 school year started! Please read everything below carefully to prepare for Launch, especially the list of items to complete BEFORE Launch towards the bottom of the page. Let us know if you have questions.

Launch Notes

  1. Parents attend Launch with their students. There are tents to be visited for housekeeping items and parent meetings for both elementary and secondary parents. Please park around the buildings and walk to the alley between the buildings, entering from the east end. No parking between the buildings.

  2. How do I attend multiple classes with more than one child? Parents manage this in multiple ways. They often pick and choose between different classes to attend. They may choose a class with one child, but if another child has the same teacher for another class, they may choose to attend a different one. Homework classes might be more important to attend. Staff will be available to assist students/families with finding classrooms if needed.

  3. The supply list can be found here. Teachers may indicate additional needs during Launch week’s shortened classes. No supply donations are being requested this year. We recommend that students (or their parents if students are in lower grades) bring a notebook & pencil/pen to Launch to take notes.

  4. Parents will sign the following waivers: KG- 12th Comprehensive, 9th-12th Agreement and Parent Volunteer at Launch. We will have computers set up for you to complete waivers for all of your students.

  5. We will have a free slice of pizza for each student at Launch. It's not necessarily a full lunch, but will give you an idea of what to order for your student each week. Go here for more info on ordering pizza once the school year starts.

  6. "My high schooler says they don't need to come because the teacher doesn't teach on that day." WRONG! It is an important day for your high schooler. Teachers hand out texts, supply lists, syllabi, go over class policies, etc. It is the best way for your student to get started on the right foot. Bonus: seeing their friends and SWAG!

General Beginning of the Year Notes

  1. Please bookmark and frequently refer to the Summit Event Calendar. All Summit events will be added to this spreadsheet with details, contact info for questions, needed links, etc.

  2. Our Summit Spirit Store will be open several times during the year. Keep an eye on the Summit Event Calendar and your email for dates.

  3. All Summit students (K-12) have Schoology, Google and Infinite Campus accounts set up for school use. Students may log into Schoology here. Their username is their seven digit student ID. If you do not know your student’s password you will be able to have their password reset at Launch. The same password is used for Infinite Campus, Gmail and Schoology.

  4. A student's Gmail address is their seven digit student ID number @jeffcoschools.us (1111111@jeffcoschools.us). Their Infinite Campus username is their seven digit student ID number.

  5. If you know your student’s password and want to change it, you can do so here (enter student’s ID number into Log in box, enter their password into the next box).

  6. Notice of Intent to homeschool letters (NOI) should have been submitted during the enrollment process via EnrollJeffco. If you have not yet submitted a NOI you can submit your NOI to Jeffco regardless of your district of residence. You may want to submit a student's NOI to your district of residence if your student might play sports or need services through that district. If you submit to your district of residence you do not need to also submit to Jeffco. Full Time High School Students DO NOT submit a Notice of Intent to Homeschool. Full time designation requires a student to be enrolled in CE classes. If you don't know if your student is full-time or not, they probably aren't. Questions? Email Ms. Wall (wall@thesummitacademy.org).

Parent Infinite Campus Account Help

Infinite Campus contains important information that parents will want to access throughout the year (student's schedule, grades, etc). If you need help logging into your Parent Infinite Campus Account please see the below information.

1. Use your Jeffco credentials (the same ones you used with EnrollJeffco) to log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

2. If you have forgotten your username or password, please go to Jeffco’s Personal Account Manager There are links below the sign-in box to help you retrieve your username and/or password. If you continue to have problems please email Carrie Breheny (breheny@thesummitacademy.org).

Complete BEFORE Launch

1) Fee Payment

  • sign in to your Infinite Campus parent account here

  • look for Quick Links at the bottom of the page and click on Jeffco student fee payment

  • all students will be selected by default

  • click the blue next button

  • select the fees that are applicable to your student(s) and complete check out procedure

All school fees are available to pay online through Infinite Campus. If you prefer to pay any of these with cash or check, you can bring payment to the Summit office.

You may also add money to your student's pizza account in Infinite Campus ($2/slice). While paying your student's school fees, you will see the option to add a pizza payment to your cart; these payments are available in $20 increments, with a new optional fee added each month. You may pay for pizza in the office, but online payments are encouraged. Pizza payments are applied to the entire family, regardless of the student for whom the fee was paid.

Questions? Email Kathy Seybert (seybert@thesummitacademy.org)

2) Infinite Campus Annual Update (returning families) OR Online Registration (new families) and Schedule Check
Please note that all returning families need to complete Jeffco's annual update (registration) through Infinite Campus. You may have received an email about this from Jeffco. Summit families DO need to complete this important process to ensure that your family's contact information is correct. The period for completing this is Monday, July 28th-Friday September 12th. You will need to complete this process before viewing anything else in Infinite Campus.

Here’s how to get started: 1) Log in to the Infinite Campus using your Jeffco credentials - the ones you use to access EnrollJeffco and any other Jeffco tool. If you're having trouble logging in, please use Jeffco's Personal Account Manager to recover your username or password. 2) In the menu, click "More", then select "Online Registration" to begin. 3) Follow the prompts to review and update your information. Questions? Email Carrie Breheny (breheny@thesummitacademy.org).

3) Student Schoology Account Check
Returning students should check to see if they can gain access to their Schoology account. Each student's Schoology username is their seven digit student ID number. Parents, you may find this number on your student's schedule if you've accessed it. If not, please sign in to your Infinite Campus account (see instructions above) to retrieve your student's ID number. Returning students should know their password from last year.

If you would like to reset your returning student's password, please go HERE. Enter your student's ID number where it asks for "Your account on Jeffco Active Directory" then choose one of the options to proceed. If you have issues you will need to have your student's password reset at Launch. Please do not call the office before Launch to request a student password change.

New students will have to have their passwords set at Launch.
