The Summit Athletic Academy is a new program opening in the 23-24 school year to 6-12th grade elite athletes who have been accepted on a high performance sports team. Students in grades 9-12 have the opportunity to participate in our full time program, including Concurrent Enrollment and Warren Tech. We offer a wide range of academic and elective classes, including STEM, Arts, Theater and more. Summit supports the Colorado initiative for parent choice in education, and it’s our desire to provide opportunities to meet the educational needs of each students. The best things about The Summit Academy are the amazing teachers and wonderful students who attend!

 

Requirements for the program:

1. The must already be a member of an elite sports team/program.

2. The sports team/program requires practices and/or travel would significantly interrupt a traditional school schedule.

3. Due to excessive absences created by the program, a flexible educational setting best meets the academic needs of the student.

4. Parents/guardians must understand and accept the role and obligations of a home based education.
