Please join us in congratulating Ben Pederson (Jr) in smashing the single-game strikeout record!

In the Jags' game against Kent Denver on Tuesday, Ben whiffed 19 of the 27 batters he faced. The previous record of 16 strikeouts in a game was held by Terry Strauber in 2017. Terry finished the season with 84, which is our current school record. As of Tuesday, Ben is on pace to test that record!

Just a few stats for Ben...
He's currently 2nd in 3A for strikeouts with 35. He's 16th in the state. He's 5th in 3A Metro for ERA (2.62). Ben also hit a home run earlier this season and stands with four other batters in 3A with one home run.
